by AllAutoExperts | 22 January, 2015
Audi is working hard to achieve leadership in the premium compact car segment and one of the models that the manufacturer from Ingolstadt relies on onis the new generation of the A4.
The tests are underway and the spy photos that are present today demonstrate this.
The official debut of our most sold Audi range will be held in 2015 but already appeared on the internet details about the new model. As we used to happen, the new generation will be approximately 100 kg lighter than the current Audi A4. The car with the code name B9 will be built on the well-known MLB EVO platform, which is built on the new Q7.
The manufacturer said that the new generation will be filled with the latest technology including the laser lights "Matrix" a digital panel that will replace the classic board clocks and which is already present on the TT coupe, a new touchpad infotainment system, and a new system of a plug-in hybrid.
Speaking of engines, the PHEV version will have an all-wheel-drive which involves a 2.0-liter TFSI aggregated at the front and an electric motor for the rear axle. The new A4 will have a range of longitudinally mounted engines of 1.4, 1.8, and 2.0 liters volume. All turbo aspirated gas station. The range of the diesel engines will be 1.6 and 2.0 liters volume, of course - turbo! Most likely, the latter will be offered in several power versions, 190, 240, and even 280 hp!
If the new A4 will be presented at Geneva this spring, most likely it will debut in the fall at the Auto Show in Frankfurt.
