The New AC Ace RS Points At The Company's All-Electric Direction
by AutoExpert | 13 October, 2021
AC Cars has begun accepting preorders for a limited-run prolongation of the Ace, which may be the company's final petrol-powered model. AC Ace RS is a compact 2.3-liter four-cylinder petrol engine that delivers 350 hp and 324 lb-ft of torque.
AC claims a 0-62 mph time of 5.8 secs, which is only 0.3 secs slower than the Ace RS Electric. Despite the nature and history of the petrol-powered Ace, which was built from 1953 to 1963, AC seems unconcerned about the transition to electric vehicles.
With a total weight of 1000 kg and a related shape to the original Ace, AC Ace RS maintains its characteristics. It starts at £89,500, and deliveries are slated to begin in summer 2022.
