This C2 Corvette from Retro Designs in North Carolina has been completely reworked to bring it into the modern day. It sports a custom-built frame that uses the foundations and suspension parts from a C7-generation Corvette, despite its familiar appearance.
Not only does this new chassis claim to improve the way the vehicle behaves, but it also enables Retro Designs to add a 6.2-liter naturally aspirated LS3 V7 with 430 horsepower mated to a six-speed manual gearbox.
Retro Designs' C2 Corvette also boasts independent rear suspension and Wilwood brakes. In addition, a 3-inch stainless steel exhaust has been installed. Some of the vehicle's features instantly capture your attention. The chrome Beyern Spartan wheels and Nitto Motivo tires are the most eye-catching features of the vehicle.
The company also spent countless hours fixing and redesigning the car's interior, including covering it in new black leather and reshaping the seats to make them comfier. Retro Designs general manager Daniel Valjevac stated, “Our goal at Retro Designs is to bring classic cars back to life and allow clients to enjoy them safely without any of the issues that can come up with driving a vintage restoration.”
To refresh your memory, restoration projects at this company begin at $100,000.
