The Director of Fiat Automobiles Chrysler Jeep brand wants to double sales by 2018

Sergio Marchionne wants Jeep to sell 1.5 million units a year within four years. FCA Chief Expectations come after Jeep managed an increase of 36% in 2013, totaling 731,565 units.
For 2014, the Jeep expects one million units sold, more than double compared with 2008 results, when the American brand sold 497,000 units. The new model of the Jeep brand, Renegade will have an important role in increasing sales in the coming years.
The production of the smallest Jeep will debut in June at the factory in Melfi FCA, Italy. The factory is capable of producing 150,000 units per year Renegade. After Renegade's production will be initiated in Italy, Jeep will start producing this model at a factory in Brazil to ensure the necessary volumes in South America market.
By the end of 2015, Renegade model will be introduced in production in China, at a factory built with the company's local partner, Guangzhou Automobile Group. Thus, Marchionne's plan for Jeep is to build the markets in South America and China, which recorded increases from year to year and promise to increase the volume in the future.
