The Daihatsu Vision Copen Concept Is Totally Adorable

Daihatsu's Vision Copen concept is definitely taking the spotlight at the 2023 Japan Mobility Show in Tokyo. What makes this concept intriguing is embracing the identity of a "compact sports convertible." 

In terms of dimensions, it's slightly smaller than a Mazda MX-5 ND, measuring 151 inches in length, 66.7 inches in width, and 49.8 inches in height, with a wheelbase of 95.1 inches.

Speaking of aesthetics, one standout feature is the rounded lighting units. The cabin features a straightforward and driver-focused design, incorporating a more understated digital cockpit, touch-sensitive controls on the center console, and a set of sporty seats.

Both the exterior and interior of the Vision Copen give off a production-ready vibe, sparking speculation that Daihatsu might be considering entry into the compact sports car segment. Adding to this speculation is the presence of a 1.3-liter engine under the hood. The interior rendering suggests it may be paired with an automatic gearbox. Daihatsu did mention that it can run on carbon-neutral fuel, though they haven't provided any further details.
