The 847-HP Mustang CS85R By Clive Sutton Is The UK's Answer To The Shelby GT500

The Shelby GT500 is not sold in the United Kingdom, but luxury automobile dealer Clive Sutton offers a notable substitute. The right-hand-drive CS850GT was introduced in 2021, followed by the new CS850R track-focused Mustang CS85R this year.
Both have a supercharged V8 with 847 horsepower, a tuned chassis, and an eye-catching carbon-fiber body kit. The CS850R improves the CS850GT's formula and is more suited to track use.
It receives a new Ford Performance T2-R Torsen differential with a reduced drive gear ratio, as well as a redesigned suspension with Pro-Active shocks, linear springs, and enhanced anti-roll bars in place of the standard MagneRide unit.
Under the hood is a rebuilt 5.0-liter V8 equipped with a Whipple supercharger, intercooler, and Quad Active XFORCE exhaust. 847 horsepower and 665 lb-ft of torque are transferred to the rear axle via a six-speed manual transmission.
Even more muscular is the reworked body kit. It includes a revised front bumper with wider air intakes, a perforated bonnet, side inlets, side sill extensions, an additional rear wing, a more visible rear diffuser, and a pair of Vossen 20-inch wheels. In addition to LED lighting components, the Mustang features color-adjustable tri-bar headlights.
Although the CS850R starts at £121,000 ($147,939) in the UK, you may spend considerably more money if you select some of the available options.
