The 2024 Kia Sonet Receives A Much-Needed Facelift

Kia Sonet, which was designed specifically for the Indian market, has become a bit antiquated in light of more recent releases. That's why the automaker decided it's time for a revamp.

Just ahead of its official debut later this year, China's MIIT has given us a glimpse of the revamped 2024 Kia Sonet. The updates are quite noticeable, including a broader grille and a minimalist design emblem for the Kia logo.

Moreover, the taillights have been redesigned to be more prominent, extending further down to frame the tailgate. Not only that, adjustments to the front and rear bumpers involve repositioning the plastic cladding and reflectors, enhancing the overall look.

For the Chinese market, this refreshed 2024 Kia Sonet will boast Kia's G4FL engine, a naturally aspirated 1.5-liter unit capable of churning out up to 117 hp, paired with a CVT transmission. These changes should help the Sonet keep up with the ever-evolving automotive landscape.
