The 2023 Challenger Shakedown, The First Of Seven 'Last Call' Special Editions From Dodge, Has Been Unveiled
by AutoExpert | 25 August, 2022
Dodge is giving its Charger and Challenger series a proper farewell by releasing no less than seven limited-edition variants. The Dodge Challenger Shakedown is the first, and it was inspired by a 2016 SEMA show car.
The special edition kit will be limited to just 1,000 units and will be based on the R/T Scat Pack. Half of those will be sold in Destroyer Grey and will be based on the regular width model. The remaining half will be based on the R/T Scat Pack Widebody trim and be available in Pitch Black.
The model will also get a "Shaker" decal under the hood, red "392" graphics on the fenders, a "Shakedown" spoiler design, a black Challenger emblem, and R/T badges. The inside carries over the stripes' red and black color scheme. The seats are upholstered with a blend of black Nappa leather and red-stitched Alcantara.
Under the hood of the Challenger Shakedown will be a special "Last Call" plaque made of brushed aluminum, just as it will be on the other seven forthcoming special edition vehicles. The name of the car, its shape, and the words "Designed in Auburn Hills" and "Assembled in Brampton" are all there. When pre-orders for the Challenger Shakedown start in October, the prices for both models will be made public.
