In North America, Tesla has formally unveiled the updated 2024 Model 3, which differs from its predecessor in terms of design, technology, and range.
The updated 2024 Model 3 model, which made its debut at the 2023 Munich Auto Show, is currently selling in North America at the same price points as the outgoing RWD and Long Range AWD versions.
New for 2024, the Model 3 has a more streamlined front fascia, modernized taillights, and yellow indicators tailored to the United States market. Moreover, the carmaker has released new exterior color options and wheel designs, such as Stealth Grey and the $2,000 Ultra Red.
A 15.4-inch center screen, an 8-inch touchscreen for the backseaters, a 17-speaker sound system, adjustable ambient lighting, acoustic glass for better soundproofing, and premium materials are all nice features of the interior.
We anticipate the Performance variant's reappearance at a later date, adding to the current lineup that includes rear-wheel drive and long-range AWD options. With a single electric motor, the base model can go from 0 to 60 mph in 5.8 seconds and has a range of 272 miles. With two motors, the same vehicle can go from 0 to 60 mph in 4.2 seconds and has a range of 341 miles.
Surprisingly, Tesla has kept the base price of the 2024 Model 3 at $38,990 and the Long Range version at $45,990, even though these upgrades have been made. Monthly payments start at $329 and $439, respectively, for leasing options. Keep in mind that the $7,500 federal tax credit will no longer be available for the Model 3 after the end of 2023.
