Tesla Hearse 3 Is The Ultimate Eco-Friendly Funeral Vehicle
by AutoExpert | 30 December, 2022
Derks Uitvaartmobiliteit, a firm based in the Netherlands, has converted a Tesla Model 3 into a hearse. The Tesla Hearse 3, as it is called in Europe, has a longer body, a luxuriously lit room for the coffin, and useful storage spaces. It can go up to 233 miles without making any pollution.
The job needed extensive trimming and a substantial increase in the wheelbase. Due to these additions, the overall length of the Tesla Hearse 3 is 218.9 inches, or 34.1 inches longer than the regular Tesla Model 3 car.
The only elements that remain unchanged from the Tesla Model 3 are the front end, the front doors, the mirror caps, the lighting units, and the bumpers. An internal windowed partition wall was installed by the company. Curtains may be drawn electronically over the back and side windows for more seclusion.
The starry sky roofline seen in the image is a fantastic extra that uses LEDs of various colors to complement the interior lighting on the walls.
Although Derks Uitvaartmobiliteit has not yet announced the price of the Tesla Hearse 3, the donor base-spec Model 3 retails in the Netherlands for €51,990 (about $55,000). There are a lot of extra parts and work put into the conversion, therefore, the final price of the car will reflect that.
