Suzuki recalls 2 Million cars worldwide. Find out why!

Suzuki kicked off a massive recall to service of almost 2,000,000 cars worldwide. These also includes Chevrolet Cruze, assembled at a Suzuki plant as well as Mazda plant, for which parts have been delivered.
The target was Suzuki model range: Alto, Wagon R and Swift, although, as Suzuki is working in a partnership with other automakers, recalled models include Chevrolet Cruze, Mazda Carol and Mazda AZ-Wagon, informs autoblog.com.
There has been a fault detected within the key contact area, which in some cases can cause a short circuit flooding the interior with smoke.
The recall was only made for cars produced for Japan, European and Australian markets. So far there have been 67 failures reported, all in Japan and none resulted in accidents, injuries or loss of life.
