In collaboration with California-based fashion company Period Correct, e-bike manufacturer SUPER73 has developed a new, gorgeous e-bike. Period Correct x SUPER73-S1 is a limited-edition model with a deep blue frame, fenders, and batteries.
Silver Period Correct logo and blue and green contrasted graphics complete the look. In addition, Lizard Skins' lock-on handles and the Origin8 Pedals Rascal round out the bike's features.
The bike was created as a result of a partnership between two design firms in Southern California. Bryan Calvero, the creator of Period Correct, spent a lot of time making sure the design was flawless.
"Period Correct x SUPER73-S1 is a tribute to the heyday of German tuning houses," remarked Calvero. "Thanks to my familiarization with SUPER73, the collaboration was really simple for me."
Calvero has admitted that he employs electric motorcycles at racetracks to navigate around the paddock area, and he's not alone. He has collaborated with different companies in the past, including McLaren and Audi.
To make this bicycle practical, a 768 Watt-hour battery was used in the SUPER73-S1. At 20 mph (32 km/h), that's enough to have a range of about 25 miles (40 km). There is a possibility of getting a range of up to 35 miles (56 km) if you help pedal, depending on parameters such as rider weight.
Priced at $3,000, the bike will only be sold on Period Correct's webpage.
