Subaru is rolling out a limited-edition treat for fans with the WRX S4 STI Sport, a sleek variant set to captivate enthusiasts in Japan. Limited to just 500 units, securing one involves a lottery from January 12–28.
Priced at 6,237,000 yen ($43,000), this exclusive Subaru WRX S4 STI Sport model retains the divisive crossover-inspired design of its latest-generation WRX siblings.
The exterior gets a facelift with a black front grille, black badges, a black lip spoiler, and Crystal Black Silica-painted wing mirrors and roof antenna. Standing out are the 19-inch BBS forged wheels, coated in a Super Black finish and wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 5 tires, bringing a touch of performance flair.
Under the hood, performance gets a boost with the addition of a tower bar and rear stiffening bar. The limited 500 examples feature a custom interior, featuring a genuine leather-wrapped steering wheel with silver stitching, shift boots adorned with silver stitching, and Recaro seats at the front covered in ultra suede material with contrasting stitching.
This premium suede extends to parts of the instrument panel, armrests, and center console, elevating the luxurious experience. Powering this limited beauty is the familiar 2.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, producing 271 hp and 277 lb-ft of torque, paired with a continuously variable transmission.
