SMN Motors Unveils a Bold Rework of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class, Boasting 592 HP

German tuning firm, SMN Motors, has masterfully reimagined the Mercedes-Benz S-Class into a high-performance luxury sedan dubbed the SMN600. Delivering an impressive 592 horsepower and a torque of 605 pound-feet (820 Newton-meters), this vehicle guarantees a heart-thumping driving experience.

The transformation begins with the S580 4Matic, a model renowned for its twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine producing a factory-standard 496 hp and 516 lb-ft. Although SMN Motors remains secretive about the precise alterations leading to an additional 96 hp and 89 lb-ft, they do reveal that the vehicle is equipped with a flap-controlled stainless-steel exhaust system that is compatible with the original OEM actuators.

The SMN600 doesn't just rely on improved performance; it's a sight to behold. The sedan sports an aggressive carbon-fiber body kit featuring a front splitter, air intake surrounds, side skirts, mirror caps, a trunk lid spoiler, and a rear diffuser. Complementing the look are 22-inch multi-spoke wheels milled from aluminum blocks. The brake calipers, painted in the eye-catching Royal Mint hue, match the cabin's plush upholstery.

The interior of the S-Class has been elegantly outfitted with a blend of Nappa leather and Alcantara, gracing the seats, door panels, dashboard, center console, steering wheel, pillars, and headliner. SMN Motors ensures customer preference is prioritized, offering the option to customize the car color if Royal Mint isn't to their liking. The coup de grace is a star-like LED-lit roof.

Whether customers wish to have an SMN600 built from scratch or modify their own W223-generation S-Class, SMN Motors can deliver, accommodating both short and long wheelbase variants.

However, for those seeking an even more potent version of the S-Class, Mercedes has the AMG S63 E Performance plug-in hybrid on offer. This factory-built powerhouse boasts a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 and a rear axle electric motor that collectively produce a jaw-dropping 791 hp and 1,055 lb-ft of torque. This high-performance sedan can go from zero to 62 mph in approximately 3.2 seconds, with a top speed limit of 180 mph in the US.

The S63 E Performance also offers features like an adaptive air suspension, active roll stabilization, active engine mounts, and an aluminum stabilizer bar beneath the V8.
