RM Sotheby’s To Auction A Rare BMW Z8 Roadster

This rare BMW Z8 Roadster made in 2002 will be set for auction on January 28-29 by RM Sothebyâs. Only 5,703 units were ever made of which just 2,543 were made available in the USA.
The BMW Z8 Roadster is powered by a naturally aspirated 4.9-liter V8 engine that can produce 400 hp and has a 6-speed transmission that sits on BMW M5. This particular roadster is finished in Titanium Silver and has a matching interior as well as black leather.
The most interesting point about this roadster is that it has only 550 miles on the clock and features original items such as books, windows stickers, tools, keys, and removable hardtop. Basically it was kept in pristine condition since 2002.
The auctioneer did publish any expected prices but it is safe to assume that it will be high, especially since the original sales price of the Z8 Roadster was $128,000.
