Porsche 914 Mid-Engine Restomod With Cayman Roots and Carbon Fiber Body Unveiled

Unveiled after nearly three years of anticipation, Fifteen Eleven Design reveals the final edition of its Porsche 914 restomod. Designed as a tribute to an often overlooked model in the German automaker's history, the restoration brings a sleek, mid-engine, Targa-topped design based on the Porsche Cayman S.
Equipped with a 3.8-liter flat-six engine, which has been meticulously reengineered, it releases a formidable 380-400 horsepower. The enhanced engine features reinforced parts, forged pistons, and a Life Racing ECU, delivering more than triple the performance of the original 914. It pairs with a six-speed manual transmission.
Handling is fine-tuned through Reiger's adjustable coil-over shock absorbers, a staple in World Rally Cars. Coupled with Porsche Brembo calipers and AP Racing pedal box, the vehicle promises remarkable stopping capability. Eye-catching 18-inch Fuchs wheels, Michelin Pilot Sport 2 tires, and a custom stainless exhaust system complement the machine.
The designers at Fifteen Eleven replace the traditional pop-up headlights with modern projector LEDs and adapt the front body to accommodate the liquid-cooled Cayman engine. A clear lift-off roof offers a brighter cabin ambiance, while carbon fiber exterior panels emphasize the car's luxurious appeal.
Inside, the 914 restomod features premium leather, Recaro seats, and a redesigned bulkhead for greater legroom. Buyers can expect personalized customization in terms of color and trim. Available in both left- and right-hand drives, the order books are open for this thrilling new Porsche restomod, with pricing beginning at $444,000 (350,000 British pounds).
