The French at Peugeot has created an electric concept that shows us what technologies we will be having in the car's interior very soon. Very very soon. And the future looks good, according to Peugeot!

This is the Peugeot Fractal concept, made by the French brand especially for the audiophiles and more. You are probably thinking of an audio system with a billion of loudspeakers, half of them - subwoofers. But things aren't quite like this, because the French chose the intelligent version, with carefully selected details, instead of the brute power.

More exactly, the doors have segments that are modeled according to a mathematic equation; in order to stop the external sounds enter the cabin, which is dressed in a 3D printed cloth, which absorbs the unwanted sounds. Therefore, the Focal audio system can offer all of its best, while the parasite sounds are basically eliminated.

But the Peugeot Fractal concept isn't just an experiment on wheels; it also promotes a few technologies that should be included in the series models of the French brand. One of them concerns the access into the car, through the intelligent watch, and also a navigation system that pronounces the indications as if the man behind the voice would approach the driver along with him forwarding on the road.

The prototype is powered by two electric engines (one in the front and one in the back) which develops together with the equivalent of 170 hp. The power is provided by a lit-ion battery of 30kWh which can, theoretically, provide autonomy for 450 km.

The suspension is adjustable, the ground clearance decreasing at highway speeds and increasing with up to 4 cm at city speeds. The board quadrants and the zone around the driver represent an evolution of the iCockpit design, used for the very first time in the modern generation of the subcompact hatchback Peugeot 208. The board indicators are placed higher than the small wheel, but this time a complex head-up display is used instead of the classical quadrants.
