What started as a bold concept back in 2018, will finally hit the market! The Taycan Cross Turismo prototype is a great glimpse at the production model. Of course, there will be extra body cladding and a raised ride height.
Porsche wants to update the SUV-inspired wagon trend into the electric sphere with the upcoming Taycan Cross Turismo. these images give us a good indication of what the final product will look like.
From the released images, it’s obvious that the extended roofline changes offer more cargo space. Also, there's extra wheel-arch cladding and revised air suspension which provide extra ground clearance. It’s expected that the Taycan Cross Turismo will come as an AWD standard.
The Taycan Cross Turismo features the Taycan 4S’ 522-hp dual-motor base powertrain setup, expecting to deliver 670-hp on Turbo and 750-hp Turbo S models set to join the lineup as well. The sedan’s the same battery-pack options as the sedan (71.0-kWh pack as standard and an 83.7-kWh pack as optional, and an EPA driving-range estimation of more than 227 miles driving-range estimates than the sedan.
Since the official price was not published officially, the estimated price for the Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo is expected to start around $110,000.
