Nissan 370Z Safari Z-Adventure Will Have Yokohama 33s Gold Wheels
by AutoExpert | 16 March, 2021
Originally built for the 2021 Tokyo Auto Salon, which got canceled due to the pandemic, the Nissan 370Z is one of the many long-serving sports cars that will gain modification, and that includes a safari-style rally raid race car. Meet the Nissan 370Z Safari Z-Adventure - a potential competitor for the Dakar race.
Another project built especially for the Tokyo Auto Salon was the Yokohama Z Tires which fought dust eventually due to the same reason, but now they are promoting their latest gold Advan Racing RC III wheels and Geolandar M/T G0003 33-inch tires.
Now the first obstacle to make the modifications was the fact that the car wasn't originally built as off-roading. The safari-style includes giving the car a lift and knobby tires, and this modification became quite popular over the last years. The Nissan 370Z is a real challenge and a great adventure.
The Z Adventure got to keep its sports car silhouette, adding to it massive fiberglass fender flares aimed to accommodate LT255/75R17 front and 33x12.50R17 LT tires. The Advan RC III 10-spoke alloys were developed by the same Yokohama division for rally cars. Also, the suspension got a lift from remote reservoir coilovers by King Off-Road of California.
Other important modifications were the Wilwood brake kit, Bradi racing seats with six-point belts, and an HKS exhaust. Original features are the electric winch and sand ladders mounted across the rear spoiler. It'll get even a small trailer for the dirtbikes or snowmobiles.
We're eager to see the Z Adventure on the roads.
