Lynk & Co has revealed the updated iteration of the 06, now dubbed the 06 EM-P. This revamped version showcases a thoroughly redesigned exterior, an overhauled interior, and a more potent plug-in hybrid powertrain.
In terms of design, the Lynk & Co 06 EM-P adopts Lynk & Co's new styling language. The updates feature new split headlights, altered bumpers, and slimmer LED taillights.
Inside, it introduces a more prominent freestanding infotainment touchscreen accompanied by a digital instrument cluster, a streamlined center console devoid of physical controls, and slimmer climate vents for a cleaner look. A dual wireless charging pad is replacing the former bulky shifter. Additionally, the sunshades feature tinted glass.
While maintaining a similar footprint to its predecessor, the new Lynk & Co 06 EM-P continues to occupy the subcompact SUV segment. Its plug-in hybrid powertrain integrates a naturally-aspirated 1.5-liter petrol engine and dual electric motors, resulting in a combined output of 295 hp and 419 lb-ft of torque.
The battery pack, with a capacity of 19.1 kWh, enables an impressive EV-only range of 63 miles as per the CLTC protocols. The Lynk & Co 06 EM-P is scheduled to debut in China by the conclusion of 2023, with an estimated starting price of approximately ¥180,000 ($24,670).
