Newly Improved Zeekr 001 Debuts In China, Can Travel Up To 641 Miles

After debuting in China in 2022, Zeekr, Geely's premium EV brand, revised its 001 Luxury Safari Coupe for 2023. According to China's CLTC cycle, the 2023 Zeekr 001 has an outstanding range of 641 miles between charges.
In terms of raw power, the Zeekr 001 has the same electric engine as its forerunner, which means it can generate 268 horsepower with a single electric motor or 536 horsepower with twin motors. The top-tier models can reach 62 mph in under 3.8 seconds.
CLTC ranges of 339–460 miles are possible with the same 86 kWh or 100 kWh conventional battery packs. While the RWD model's record-breaking range of 641 miles is achieved with the help of a new 140 kWh Kirin battery pack, this alternative is restricted to only 1,000 units.
Since the Zeekr 001 debuted in April 2021, there have been no cosmetic changes to the vehicle. The unique five-door body style that straddles the line between shooting brakes and crossovers is still there, as is the Lynk&Co-inspired face with divided headlights using matrix LED technology. Yu Guang Orange, Extreme Blue, and Polar Night Black are the three new exterior colors available on Zeekr in 2023.
Everything inside has been carried over as well, including the huge 14.7-inch touchscreen for the infotainment, the 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster, and the 5.7-inch touchscreen for the rear passengers. Nappa leather upholstery is offered in black, blue, gray, and brown colors, and the front seats are heated, ventilated, and massage-capable. Now, all packages come with electric doors as standard.
In addition, there is an adjustable air suspension system, a premium Yamaha sound system, and a temperature control system with three separate zones. The upgraded Zeekr 001 may be ordered now in China, with the first deliveries anticipated in the second quarter of 2023. Prices vary from 300,000 to 386,000 yen ($43,487 to $55,953).
