Xiaomi has just pulled the wraps off its latest marvel, the upgraded SU7 electric vehicle. Their primary goal in designing it was to achieve better performance at the Nurburgring than the Porsche Taycan Turbo GT.
The Xiaomi SU7 Ultra prototype has a carbon-fiber exterior and three electric motors that produce a total of 1527 horsepower. The Green Hell was recently the target of espionage photos showing a disguised test vehicle.
Featuring a huge rear wing that can generate up to 4,729 lbs of downforce, wide fenders, and a big splitter, the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra looks really impressive. Meanwhile, a total of three electric motors generate 1527 horsepower in the new Xiaomi SU7 Ultra.
The energy comes from a CATL Qilin 2.0 battery pack, which is track-appropriate due to its maximum discharge rate of 1,330 kW. As per Xiaomi's specifications, the SU7 Ultra can reach speeds of up to 217 mph, with acceleration times of 1.97 seconds from 0-62 mph, 5.97 seconds from 0-124 mph, and 15 seconds from 0-186 mph.
With the help of the regenerative braking system, the high-performance AP Racing brakes handle the stopping power. From 186 mph to a complete stop in approximately 15 seconds, the greatest deceleration force is 2.36G. It has been rumored that Xiaomi plans to race the SU7 Ultra in the Nurburgring in October, with the goal of surpassing the lap times of the Porsche Taycan Turbo GT (7:07.55).
