Exciting news for car enthusiasts, as the highly anticipated arrival of the Lexus LBX has finally been confirmed! The Lexus model shares the GA-B platform with its Toyota counterpart but boasts a unique and stylish appearance.
You'll have the option to choose between front- and all-wheel drive. Plus, the Lexus LBX comes equipped with a top-of-the-line continuously variable transmission. Standard features include a MacPherson strut front suspension, torsion beam rear suspension (in FWD versions), and double wishbone rear suspension (in AWD variants).
The wheels are 18 inches in diameter. Meanwhile, the Lexus LBX's interior features a 12.3-inch touchscreen and a fully digital instrument cluster with a head-up display. The 13-speaker system, which also includes a subwoofer, was developed by Mark Levinson.
Lexus LBX's hybrid drivetrain is centered around a 1.5-liter gasoline engine with three cylinders. Total output is 134 horsepower, with a peak torque of 136 lb-ft. According to Lexus, the trailer can pull up to 1,653 pounds. Production of the LBX is expected to begin later this year, with sales beginning in Europe and other regions in early 2024.
