New Lada Niva Is Coming Back To Life Again

Lada Niva has been one of the most loyal cars to the original model and edition. This means it has barely changed for the last 40 years, which is more than a long period of time.

Well, the Russians have promised to change that and stated that they've already started working on a new-gen of the classic off-road. According to Nicolas Maure, the CEO of AvtoVaz, the SUV will finally enter the 21st century.

There were some rumors earlier stating that there might be a successor of Lada Niva that will have something in common with Dacia/Renault Duster in order to maintain low prices. The fact is that the upcoming model will have nothing in common with the affordable SUV.

There aren't any details regarding the design or type of the engine yet. The only thing that is known is that it's likely to come in two body styles and with 3 and 5 doors.
