New Jaguar C-Type Continuation 70-Edition Honors Le Mans 1953 Victory

In honor of the 1953 24 Hours of Le Mans, when C-types won first, second, fourth, and ninth place, Jaguar Classic has introduced a pair of C-type Continuation vehicles. The "70-Edition" is the term used to describe these two unique C-type Continuation cars.
The first of them has a unique finish in Verbier Silver with Cranberry Red leather inside; Jaguar claims that this color and trim combination will never be seen again.
The second vehicle, meanwhile, pays homage to the 1953 Le Mans champion C-type and is painted in the British Racing Green of the Works Team. These two "70-Edition" models largely mirror all other C-type Continuation versions now in production.
Noticeable "70-Edition" stitching and embroidery all over, special badges, and painted roundels with the number 70 set the models apart. A 3.4-liter straight-six engine with triple Weber 40DCO3 carburetors sits underneath, and it generates 220 horsepower. It takes Jaguar Classic Works in Coventry over 3,000 hours to build each C-type Continuation model, and the first of these luxury vehicles is just now making its way into the hands of eager buyers across the globe.
