New 'Adventure Series' Range For Ace And Jax EVs
by AutoExpert | 5 November, 2021
Alpha Motor Corporation has announced its new "Adventure Series" range for the Ace and Jax EV crossover utility cars, even though manufacturing is not planned until 2023. The lighting and wheels have been upgraded, with KC Lights and KMC collaborating with the upstart EV producer for the new series.
There are also some eye-catching color schemes. The color "Cerro Blanco," used in the Adventure Series' Ace, is believed to be motivated by the largest dunes in Peru and Fusain.
It's an unusual color that emphasizes the contours of the Ace, whether it's charcoal or dune-themed. The Jax has a dark green color scheme. This green has been given the name Lida after Lida Street in Pasadena, California.
The principal lights are KC Lights' 7-inch "Gravity LEDs," which include elevated/low beams and also daytime running lights. Secondary lights include Cree LED-powered "Flex Era 4" lights & "Gravity LED Pro6s," which promise to be using special industry-leading tech and reflector layout for intense effective light.
The wheels and tires make up the second half of the enhancements. Off-road performance wheels from KMC are included with the Adventure Series vehicles. The Ace has a KM545 Trek Beadlock wheel, whereas the Jax has a KM718 Summit Beadlock wheel.
In January, the Ace coupe was introduced, followed by the Alpha Jax in February. The Jax, which is just a beefed-up, somewhat larger Ace, will be equipped with a 75 kWh lithium-ion battery pack with a range of about 250 miles (402 km). There will be front- and four-wheel drive options, as well as a 6.5-second 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) time, according to the manufacturer.
