NASCAR V8 Engine Powers This Sadistic Nissan Skyline GT-R

Professional drifters go to tremendous efforts to construct vehicles that don't come out of the factory. Daigo Saito is an illustration. Saito fitted a new-generation Toyota GR Supra with Toyota's original 2JZ inline-six engine in 2019. Now Saito's most recent engine replacement is even more bizarre. He has taken action and fitted a monstrous Dodge NASCAR R5P7 V8 with roughly 800 hp, starting with an early Nissan Skyline GT-R as a platform.
At the 2022 Tokyo Auto Salon, the vehicle will be on exhibit. Although Osamu Hamanaka owns the automobile, Saito has assumed leadership of the project and posted it on his Instagram profile.
This custom Nissan Skyline GT-R looks and feels tremendous, as one would expect from a car with such a powerful engine. The high-revving V8 is mated to a four-speed RTS GForce transmission and a Sikky/Winters quick-change rear-end. Kei Miura designed and built custom control arms for the rear suspension.
The severe fender flares and substantial negative camber on the front tires, which are typical on drift-focused cars, are just a few of the alterations done. Saito previously posted a photo of the modified GT-R with Yokohama tires. Work wheels and a Rocket Bunny body kit are included. The fender mirrors and headlights seem to have been left alone.
This Nissan Skyline GT-R isn't flawless, but it is such a showpiece that you have no choice but to overlook its imperfections. Watch this video to see it for yourself!
