Modified 2023 Nissan Z Now Has Over 500 Wheel Horsepower

The base model 2023 Nissan Z provides excellent value. You can acquire a rear-wheel drive, 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 coupe with 400 horsepower and a 0-60 mph time in the low-four second range for as little as $40,000. However, AMS, a tuning company located in Chicago, was able to significantly improve the performance of a Z Proto automatic it had recently bought by making a few simple bolt-on modifications.
The team at AMS had already increased the stock car's 373 horsepower to 440 horsepower at the wheels with a new calibration they developed before beginning the more extensive modifications.
A stock model with an automatic transmission can run the quarter mile in 12.3 seconds at 116 miles per hour. With the AMS upgrades, the vehicle's engine produced 500 hp at the wheels, the quarter-mile time dropped to 11.43 seconds, and the maximum speed increased to 124 mph.
These enhancements resulted from the installation of a new exhaust system, downpipes, heat exchanger, intercooler, a remap optimised for 100-octane fuel, and a set of Hoosier drag slicks measuring 28 inches in diameter.
