As with other luxury automobiles, Maserati also provides a high-end customizing program, dubbed Maserati Fuoriserie. This time, David Beckham has opted to show off his new product.
“I have always been a car enthusiast, so to be part of designing and creating my MC20 through the Fuoriserie customization program has been an amazing experience,” said Beckham.
David Beckham's Maserati MC20 Fuoriseie Edition was inspired by his soccer team, Miami United FC. He collaborated with the carmaker to design an automobile that matches the team's black and pink uniforms. The uniforms aren't just black and pink, though, as the mix of glossy and matte textures adds to the aesthetic attractiveness of the kits.
Maserati was able to replicate this function for Beckham's automobile. The bodywork is painted in a glossy black tone to juxtapose with the matte black Trident emblems on the grille and C-pillars. The Maserati inscription on the back is similarly matte black, however, the MC20 insignia on the door, as well as the Brembo brake calipers, are pastel pink.
Meanwhile, a customized nameplate with a glossy-matte look appears in the central tunnel between the seats. The Maserati Fuoriseie writing is pastel pink next to the trident emblem, and the words "For David" emerge in italics at the bottom.
