Recently, Performmaster has announced its newest Mercedes-AMG G63-based project. The tuner calls his modified G63 the 'G805' and began by constructing an eye-catching widebody package for the vehicle in question. The new bodykit widens the G63's track by 10 mm and sharpens its appearance due in part to a Performmaster emblem on the grille and a special bumper with carbon fiber air intakes and a splitter.
Among other features, the G805's bonnet has massive air intakes, and its wheel arches now include carbon fiber extensions. Some other additions to the car include a carbon fiber roof spoiler, different running boards with LED entry lights, and an all-carbon-fiber redesigned rear bumper.
Additional Alcantara and leather detailing were added to the G-Class interior by Performmaster. The SUV's capability was the next focus. The 4.0-liter V8 was given new turbochargers, as well as a PEC tuning module developed in-house. The G805 now produces 805 hp and 752 lb-ft (1,020 Nm) of torque, which is a huge increase over the original model's 585 hp and 627 lb-ft (850 Nm). The tuner claims a peak speed of 260 km/h (162 mph) and a 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) time of 3.69 seconds.
Although no pricing information has been released, all of Performmaster's improved parts have received TÜV approval in Germany.
