Mercedes And Will.I.Am Came Up With The “The Flip” Concept

Mercedes-AMG and the artist will.i.am have joined together to transform an AMG GT into a cross between an SLS Gullwing and a G-wagon SUV. The one-off concept, dubbed "The Flip," will be unveiled at the Grand Prix USA in Miami.
An AMG GT 4-Door Coupe is at the heart of the concept, but it is not instantly clear. The four typically opening doors on each side of the GT have been limited to a single rear-opening suicide door.
What's striking is the nose, which borrows heavily from the G-Class SUV's front end but adds a short coupe roof to create a different look. The bottom part of the bumper is packed with air intakes, the outer pair of which bears AMG stripe insignia.
The Flip's engine is not disclosed by AMG. That said, we know it's stock regardless of whether it's an AMG GT 43's 362 horsepower inline-six or the AMG GT 63 S's 639 hp bi-turbo V8. The back appearance and the inside aren't seen, so we can only assume they're original.
