We're pretty familiar with Batmobiles, as we've seen them a lot during the last years. This is what we can't say regarding BMW body styles. In the current picture, you're able to see the newest Lego Batmobile model.
This model is a version of Batmobile that is set to appear in The Lego Batman Movie in less than a month. It is the latest choice from Caped Crusader game and it's designed by Chevy and the students in Cody Rouge.

The length is pretty much like a Tahoe - 17 feet long. It's also 7 feet tall and around 9 feet wide. It has just two seats and is much lighter than a Chevy's production SUV. This is thanks to its material - 344,187 plastic brick in 17 colors. They're manufactured around a frame made of 86 feet of aluminum tubing, which represents only 282.5 of the vehicle's overall 1,695.5 pounds.

It took Chevy 222 hours to design this model and another 1,833 hours to manufacture it on a 24/7 basis. This means they did that in only three months. If it is to do the same work, but in regular hours, it would've taken a year. It was assembled at Lego Model Shop in Enfield, Connecticut.

This isn't the first time that Bowtie has helped designing and manufacturing a Batmobile. The jet-powered car from Batman Returns from 1989 was built on an Impala's chassis and the cars from Batman Forever in 1995 and Batman & Robin in 1997 both used a Chevy ZZ3 V8 engine.
