Meet The Donkervoort F22 Art Edition, Where Art Meets Performance
by AutoExpert | 15 April, 2024
Donkervoort is totally jumping on the art car bandwagon with their super exclusive limited edition F22 track toy release! The owner's beloved artwork inspired this one-of-a-kind livery of the supercar. The F22 Art Edition will be on exhibit at the Dutch owner's gallery with artwork, vehicles, and motorcycles.
His name is Cees Lubbers. Donkervoort claims that Lubbers can transform this unique F22 into a "garage queen" by driving his red Donkervoort D8 GTO JD70 R around the track from time to time.
Renowned Dutch artist Anneke Wilbrink painted the original artwork that served as inspiration for the Donkervoort F22 Art Edition livery. The multi-colored artwork, featuring a white backdrop and a variety of colors such as cyan, green, yellow, orange, and red, includes the Donkervoort logo.
The business is encouraging current and potential F22 buyers to "let their imaginations run wild" while designing their vehicle. Featuring an Audi-sourced turbocharged 2.5-liter five-cylinder engine, the Donkervoort F22 Art Edition retains all of the normal model's technical specs. With 492 horsepower and 472 lb-ft of torque, this engine produces 666 PS per ton of weight. Only the back wheels receive power from a five-speed manual transmission.
