Meet The Chevy Impala Of The Future
by AutoExpert | 17 March, 2022
From 2020, the Chevy Impala was no longer being manufactured by General Motors. A digital artist has now provided us with a glimpse of what a modern-day Chevy Impala SS Coupe may look like.
The artist claims that the Impala SS from the 1990s, as well as older Chevy Impalas from the 1960s, served as inspiration for this new depiction concept.
Designed by Rain Prisk, this Chevy Impala SS Coupe concept appears to be based on the current Chevy Camaro's front-end style, with large, thin headlights flanking a wide, narrow grille piece. The concept's appearance is sleek and straightforward, with a multitude of horizontal lines accentuating the overall length of the contemporary Chevy Impala SS Coupe.
There is a polished chrome strip that emphasizes the shoulder line, which is echoed by chrome-plated window frames. The Chevy Impala's rear end has been squared off to resemble the Impala SS from the 1990s and provides cargo room.
An Intimidator-style design is provided by a coat of traditional black paint over the whole body of the modern Chevy Impala. Chevy Bow Tie badges are placed on the headrests and the interior appears to be completed in brown leather upholstery with black trim. To be honest, it's a nice concept that should appeal to enthusiasts of the classic Chevy Impala.
