Maserati Is Celebrating The 50th Anniversary Of The Boomerang Model
by AutoExpert | 10 March, 2022
On March 9, 1972, the Boomerang was originally displayed as a one-of-a-kind model. The Geneva Motor Show hosted the event. Giorgetto Giugiaro designed the model, and Italdesign created it.
Even though the model was never mass-produced, it inspired Giorgetto Giugiaro's designs as well as those of other European and American manufacturers.
The car is powered by a 4.7-liter V8 engine that is centrally positioned and produces 310 hp. The Maserati Bora provided the rest of the parts. The Boomerang has participated in a variety of international contests over the years. It has changed hands and appeared in numerous advertisements thanks to its uniqueness.
