Manhart G 800 Inferno Is A Good Power Upgrade For The Mercedes G63
by AutoExpert | 21 October, 2022
Having waited three years after Top Car debuted the Inferno body kit for Mercedes-AMG G63, Manhart has entered the fray by fusing the carbon-fiber components with a slew of mechanical improvements to develop the G 800 Inferno.
Top Car Design's carbon-fiber package features wider fenders, beefier bumpers, a vented hood, LED lights for the roof, a diffuser, and a rear wing reminiscent of a sports car.
After reupholstering the inside in Alcantara and perforated leather, Manhart applied its characteristic gold decal set to the outside to stand out against the dark paint job. A pair of H&R lowering springs bring the Manhart G 800 Inferno to the ground, enhancing its handling, and the gold-painted Manhart Forged Line wheels give the vehicle a hefty appearance.
With new software and a turbo performance improvement, the tuner was able to increase the output of AMG's twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine to an astonishing 798 horsepower and 863 lb-ft of torque. The original G63 had 577 horsepower and 627 lb-ft of torque, so those numbers are a significant improvement. The cost of Manhart's enhancements was not disclosed, but anybody interested in having their off-road vehicle updated may get in touch with the tuner directly.
