Lexus RX L 2022 Joins The Black Line Limited Edition Squad
by AutoExpert | 13 July, 2021
Lexus has announced that a limited edition Black Line model of the three-row 2022 RX L SUV will be released, featuring unique content and visual cues. In total, only 495 special edition cars will be produced for the model year.
Eminent White Pearl and Cloudburst Gray will be the exclusive options for the RX 450hL and RX 350L Black Line. Black 20-inch wheels with black lug nuts, black mirror caps, a black lower front bumper, and a dark nameplate will complement these paint combinations.
The interior of the three-row variant of the premium SUV will be painted in black to contrast with the exterior shade. The first two rows of seats will be covered in black and white NuLuxe, with blue stitching all across the interior on the shift boot, steering wheel, and upper instrument panel.
Black floor mats, cargo mats, and key gloves will carry the dark theme throughout the cabin. To complete the aesthetic, the open-pore wood that trims the cabin will also be black.
The package will be based on the three-row RX's Premium Package, which already includes finer wood trim, the Lexus Memory system, a power sunroof, and aluminum roof rails. The 290 hp 3.5-liter V6-powered RX 350L Black Line special edition starts at $52,030, while the 308 hp self-charging hybrid-powered RX 450hL Black Line version will start at $55,290.
Lexus said the 2022 RX L Black Line variants will be available in dealerships by the end of July, with 393 gas-powered cars and 106 hybrids produced.
