The Lexus LBX just got a dash more flair, all thanks to Modellista's masterful touch. The SUV's charm is now enhanced with a series of subtle yet impactful modifications, staying true to the adage that less is often more.
Kicking off the makeover, Modellista introduced side skirts, a rear bumper add-on, and a fresh front bumper extension.
These components form part of the 'Advanced Luxury' package, which also includes a high-gloss silver finish on the bumpers and skirts. This could be a sneak peek at what an LBX 'F Sport' model might resemble.
Modellista, a Toyota-owned accessory brand, crafted a neat silver trim piece for the front panel just behind the headlights. Another stylish touch is the curved silver trim placed below the tailgate's LED light bar, adding a subtle yet sophisticated accent.
The showstopper, however, is the 19-inch wheel set. These wheels, with their elegant silver spokes, are a perfect match for the LBX, enhancing its overall appeal.
Under the hood, the LBX is unique in the Lexus lineup, sitting on Toyota's GA-B platform. It’s offered as a hybrid, with the base model boasting a 1.5-liter three-cylinder petrol engine, front-wheel drive, and two electric motors.
The top-end model ramps it up with three electric motors and all-wheel drive, delivering 134 HP and 136 lb-ft of torque, hustling the SUV to 62 mph in a respectable 9 seconds.
Inside, Lexus didn’t hold back on luxury. The LBX’s interior features ambient leather, a 9.8-inch touchscreen compatible with wireless Apple CarPlay and wired Android Auto, options for semi-aniline leather and Ultrasuede, and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster.
This combination of stylish exterior enhancements and luxurious interior appointments ensures the Lexus LBX stands out as a subtly refined, yet expressive SUV.
