Lamborghini Urus S And Performante Get A Powerlift From Novitec
by AutoExpert | 5 January, 2024
Novitec is injecting a dose of adrenaline into the Lamborghini Urus S and Urus Performante models, offering an enticing upgrade for enthusiasts seeking both power and style. The Esteso bodykit, a testament to Novitec's tuning prowess since 2019, introduces a dynamic visual overhaul.
Fender extensions, carbon accents on the splitter, side gills, and intake garnish, along with optional elements like a full-carbon hood, larger diffuser, roof spoiler, and lip spoiler, contribute to an aggressive yet aerodynamically optimized design.
Novitec claims these enhancements reduce front-axle lift at high speeds, blending form with function. The lowered suspension, subtly dropping the SUV by 1 inch, not only adds a sportier stance but also brings the Urus S closer to the ground. Novitec's choice of 23-inch NL5 wheels, developed in collaboration with Vosen and encased in performance rubber, enhances both aesthetics and handling.
Under the hood, Novitec upgrades the twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine, propelling it to a formidable 771 hp and 761.2 lb-ft of torque. This substantial power boost places it above the stock Urus Performante, rated at 657 hp.
While ABT's Lamborghini Urus Scatenato surpasses Novitec's version in power, the Urus Esteso still accelerates from 0–62 mph in 3.1 seconds and achieves a slightly higher top speed of 193 mph compared to the factory-spec Urus Performante's 190 mph.
Novitec's Esteso body kit is available for the Urus, Urus Performante, and Urus S, offering a comprehensive tuning package that not only elevates performance but also transforms the visual appeal of Lamborghini's SUV lineup.
