Lamborghini Huracan Evo As An Airport Follow Me Car – Why Not?
by AutoExpert | 26 June, 2021
Bologna Airport has probably landed the most amazing Follow Me car ever – a Lamborghini Huracan Evo. The car will be guiding the arriving and departing aircraft around the airport, thanks to the renewed partnership between the airport and Lamborghini.
Although the contract is limited in time, only till January 7th, 2022, the car wearing the special livery signed by Lamborghini Centro Style will sure make a show. The Arancione Matte (Orange) accents remind of the vehicles operating in the maneuvering areas throughout the airport, while Verde (Green) contrasts with the intense orange in the most intense way possible.
There is a roof-mounted light bar with Follow Me in Our Beautiful Country badging, alongside the installed radio, enabling the control tower to have direct communication with the driver.
This is a regular Huracan Evo if you can call this car “regular”, running on a 5.2-liter V10 engine. The power reaches 631 hp, at a torque of 443 lb-ft, through a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission delivering the power to all four wheels. The first 100 km/h is reached in 2.9 seconds, with a top speed of 325 km/h.
