Jeep Wagoneer S Trailhawk Concept Is Combining Electric Efficiency With Rugged Performance

As with the regular production Wagoneer S on which it is based, the Trailhawk Concept is electric only; nonetheless, it makes use of the 4xe subbrand to mimic Jeep's best features. The large 31.5-inch all-terrain tires significantly reduce the stated 300-mile range of the standard model.

The Trailhawk Concept abandons the Wagoneer S's emphasis on being very slick in favor of a laser-cut aluminum roof rack and a robust suspension lift that can traverse tree stumps. Meanwhile, the new front and rear bumpers with robust tow hooks are another noticeable change.

To alleviate pressure in areas where it is possible for air to accumulate when driving on highways, Jeep has included functioning extractors. This Jeep Grand Cherokee S has a locking rear axle and a specific Rock Mode in the Selec-Terrain drive mode selection to keep the Trailhawk loyal to the Trail Rated concept. The inside's versatile modular cargo system, which uses interchangeable elastic straps on the doors and center console to secure any kind of goods, ensures the safe fastening of the equipment.

The cabin is keeping it simple. Besides the stylish front seats, there's a practical cross-car grab bar for passengers. The Jesus handle addition, with its exposed fasteners and 1/4-20 threaded inserts, serves multiple purposes. It can attach gear, gadgets, and extras. Jeep has developed a brand-new, redesigned octagonal steering wheel. There are two primary functions of the steering wheel, according to Jeep.

Its all-terrain design features a rounded shape for simple hand-over-hand navigation on any surface, as well as a tactically inspired grip area at the 9 and 3 o'clock positions. We can only imagine how much a Trailhawk would cost, given that the base price of a Launch Edition Wagoneer S is over $71,000 and the MSRP of a 2024 Grand Cherokee Trailhawk 4xe is a little over $66,000.
