The guys from KGP Photography have caught the new SUV from Jeep testing on the roads. Here is what we think about it.
Jeep is planning to add a new SUV to its line even if they already have 2 small SUV. The new SUV rides on the "Small" platform that Renegade is based on. As for its dimensions, it stands somewhere between Renegade and Cherokee
However, the new model embraces a more traditional approach to Jeep style, unlike the other 2 models. It features a traditional Jeep front, defined wheel arches, and sloped roofline, all giving it a more sharp style.
Given its looks, it seems like this model will manage the off-road better than Compass. Under the hood, Jeep installed a 2.0-liter turbo-four engine. We can guess that they will have either a 9-speed Chrysler ZF automatic transmission or a 6-speed manual that sits on the Renegade.
