JDM Odyssey-Based Minivan Honda Elysion Is Only Available In China

A sister vehicle to the JDM-spec Honda Odyssey, which is available in other foreign markets as well, Dongfeng-Honda has shown the first images of the revised Elysion minivan for China. This Honda Elysion model is separate from the larger, North American market Odyssey.
Dongfeng will manufacture the redesigned Elysion in China, just like its predecessor, and it is expected to be on sale later this month. The Elysion moniker was first used in Japan for a minivan that was closely linked to the Odyssey, and it was later made available in China beginning in 2012.
Honda introduced the second-generation Elysion in 2015, and it is getting a makeover this year that includes cosmetic and technical changes. The new Honda Elysion has the same profile as the previous model, but it now has a much bigger hexagon-shaped grille that covers the majority of the front bumper.
Minivans with large grilles are becoming increasingly popular in China, so we expect local purchasers to appreciate this new look. In addition to the new LED headlamp and taillight graphics, the bumpers have been somewhat reworked. The e:HEV emblem on the tailgate indicates that the facelifted Elysion will be equipped with Honda's most recent hybrid system.
Honda Elysion, produced by Dongfeng, and Honda Odyssey, built by Guangzhou, are the two models available to Chinese clients.
