With the introduction of the new Black Edition, the Mitsubishi Outlander lineup in Japan has expanded, and the already-existing model has also received some modifications. The new Black Edition of the Outlander is based on the G trim level and has a black grille, front and rear skid plates, and side mirrors.
Additionally, it has a pair of unique 20-inch aluminum wheels that are similarly black, and its center and quarter panels are painted a glossy black. A new two-tone color scheme of Titanium Gray Metallic/Black Mica is available for the Mitsubishi Outlander Black Edition.
In addition to the two new monochrome choices, there are also three two-tone color combinations to choose from. The Black Edition has been customized with a black ceiling and a special shift panel with laser engraving.
Updates to the current Outlander lineup include a new standard feature: unlimited-data WiFi connection provided by Mitsubishi. The carmaker has also updated its "My Mitsubishi Connect" system to include a variety of new features, including the ability to lock and open doors. Two extra two-tone color combinations (Red Diamond/Black Mica and Sterling Silver Metallic/Black Mica) have also been introduced to the lineup.
