It's Time For The All-Electric Mercedes Vision AMG
by AutoExpert | 20 May, 2022
Mercedes-Benz has been hinting at a more radical design for its AMG cars. The Mercedes Vision AMG has finally arrived, ending the long wait. The Vision AMG is based on the new AMG.EA platform, which is currently being developed for future performance electric vehicles.
The Vision AMG is based on the sporty Vision EQXX, which can travel more than 600 miles per charge. In order to give it a sharper appearance, it has a lengthy wheelbase and big flared wheel arches. At the back, the roof drops drastically into a spoiler, which enhances aerodynamics.
AMG-inspired design features, such as the vertical grille bars, have been included in Mercedes' style. Like the 2022 Mercedes-AMG ONE supercar, the automobile has a large three-pointed star on the hood. There are no images of the inside of the vehicle. Nevertheless, Mercedes claims that the Vision AMG seats four people well.
Mercedes Vision AMG's powertrain was kept under wraps, although Mercedes claims it features a revolutionary Axial Flux Motor produced by the company's YASA.
