It’s Official: Audi RS e-tron GT Will Have 640 HP

After a long wait, now Audi has confirmed the RS e-tron GT will be the firm's most powerful production car yet.
The Audi R8 Performance is powered by the dual electric motor setup will produce up to 640 horsepower, 0-62 mph in less than 3.5 seconds, and a top speed limited to 155 mph. These numbers are available only on the activated Overboost Mode.
With the same J1 platform and 83.7kWh battery as the Porsche Taycan the Audi to provide a WLTP-rated range of around 249 miles. Charging with a 350-kW fast charger, the battery can be charged up to 80 percent in just 22.5 minutes.
It’ll be available on sale next year with 19-, 20-, and 21-inch wheels. Unable to see the car without its camouflage yet, from the look at it, the design looks remarkably similar to the original e-tron GT concept.
