Sam Johnson created this GT Crossover concept as his graduation work at Coventry University. It aims to arise the SUVs to a whole new level. This implies taking the SUVs from the usual off-road sector and transferring it to the city.
Most of the SUVs are used on bumpy surfaces and in rural surroundings. There was no clean and neat approach when it came to these cars.
Johnson provides an urban SUV, which can be charged at very low costs (approximately 5 dollars) and become the high-performance 4x4 at the weekend.
The cabin of the concept is installed on the right side of the chassis, allowing a bigger storage space to be created.
The drive train uses an electric engine that produces 190 hp, able to cover 501 km.
The length of the crossover is of 4500 mm, the width - 1800 mm, while the height reaches 1380 mm.
