Introducing The "Night Terror," A Nissan GT-R With 3,400 HP Built For Drag Racing
by AutoExpert | 6 February, 2023
This Nissan GT-R drag racer is among the fastest and most powerful on the planet! The owner has renamed his GT-R "Night Terror," and it looks nothing like the original. Actually, it has been changed so extensively that many people on social media claim it is no longer a GT-R.
The GT-R now rides on an all-new, unique tube chassis in lieu of the old one. Photos of the vehicle's back end that have been made public also reveal a unique design.
Only the bodywork remains unchanged from the original vehicle. These include the GT-R's doors, front fascia, roofline, and sharp side windows. As for the motor, it looks like the vehicle still has its original VR38DETT. The VR38DETT is a 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine designed by Nissan specifically for use in the GT-R.
While the top-end road-legal GT-R50 generates 710 horses, this one has far more. Specifically, it has been upgraded extensively to the point that it now produces an astounding 3,400 horsepower!
