Infiniti Synaptiq concept wants to connect to your vertebral column.

Infiniti wants future drivers to literally inter-connect to the cars they drive. At least this is what the Synaptic concept shows.
The virtual prototype wants to be one with the driver via a SUIT (Symbiotic User Interface Technology) that has a bunch of sensors and artificial muscles, but also a physical connection between the spine and the car.
t sounds strange, I know, but remember that nobody expected that vehicles in 2015 could connect to the Internet. So there is in fact, a possibility that they could connect to our spines in 2029!
n addition to the Human - Machine Interface, the Infiniti Synaptic offers three protective shell options: one that is very much like Formula 1 race cars, one for having fun in the sand dunes, and one that can fly.
