In Australia, The 2022 Ram 2500 Starts At AU$157,950

Ram 2500 Heavy Duty is Australia's most powered pickup truck. Trucks from the United States have been making their way to Australian shores in recent years. The most powerful of them all, though, is the Dodge Ram 2500.
To be offered exclusively, it will be equipped with a Cummins turbodiesel 6-cylinder engine that produces 370-hp and 1,152 lb-ft of torque at 1,700 rpm. On this motor, which is coupled to a six-speed automatic gearbox 68RFE, the cylinder block is built from compacted graphite iron.
In addition, the vehicle is equipped with a BorgWarner electronic transfer case, which can be switched between 2WD High, Neutral, and 4WD Low. FRD shocks at all four corners were included in the Ram 2500 from the start to manage continual, large payloads.
When riding on rough terrain, the valves of these shocks automatically adjust to the different forms of vertical wheel input, resulting in a smoother ride. Featuring an 8.0-tonne braking capacity, 2500 is also Australia's best-towing pickup truck.
In Australia, 2500 has to be converted to right-hand drive because it isn't made in right-hand drive at the manufacturer. There are more than 400 new parts that have been acquired locally as part of this project.
There is a 12-inch Uconnect touchscreen infotainment system, a 360-degree surround-view camera, and adaptive cruise control. There is also a trailer sway control, lane departure warning, and blind-spot monitoring. Buyers in the area will be able to choose between the Ram 2500 Laramie Crew Cab and RamBox Laramie Crew Cab.
RamBox is priced at AU$162,900 (about $122,000). The entry-level model costs AU$157,950 (about US$116,500). If you want to upgrade to a metallic color, you'll have to shell out an extra $701 in Australian dollars, and the Driver Assistance Level 1 package costs $1,950.
